The Haul
So Nordstrom has been running they’re anniversary sale and I picked up a few things. This is Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Haul. I mostly grabbed stuff to treat my hair and scalp. The hair products I grabbed are from a brand called Oribe and Sunday Valley. I also picked up some Mascara from Saint Laurent ( they had really good sale), lip injection from Too Faced, and some makeup brushes from Laruce. I will be using these products over the next weeks and will update with results.

Oribe Moisture Masque
One of the hair products I picked from Oribe was a hair moisturizer. This is just like any other hair moisturizer but on a more luxurious level. It’s meant to keep your hair feeling rich and indulgent. (consumption may differ based on hair type) I have very thick hair so I expect my consumption to be more on the heavier side. I like Oribe because all their products are dermatologist tested, vegan/gluten free, and also gives UV protection. Lastly one major plus to paying the extra amount is that this product is approved by PETA.
Oribe Nourishing Hair Oil
Another hair product I got was the; Oribe “Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil”. I have been using this product for sometime now. I purchased it off a recommendation from Amazon and it has worked wonders for my hair. This product works especially well in dry and humid climates and actually adds protection to your hair. This oil also states that it is nourishing, meaning it repairs any damaged hair. Again because it is an Oribe product it benefits from all the safety and ecological pluses that the hair moisturizer has.
Oribe Serene scalp Soothing Leave-on Treatment
The last product I picked up from Oribe was the “serene Scalp soothing leave on treatment”. This is a new product for me but I do have high hopes since the Oribe products have been very good quality and have yielded good results in the past. This is a leave on treatment that will help to loosen and dandruff flakes aw well as help to cool the scalp with mint and chamomile.
Sunday Riley Scalp Rinse
The last hair product I purchased was a cleaning scalp rinse. This rinse is from Sunday Riley. I have not used a product from this brand before but have high hopes as this seems to be a simple product.
YveSaintLaurent Mascara and Lash Clash
Since this was a sale I did end up grabbing some makeup products that had some good discounts. Saint Laurent had a sale on a duo pack of mascara (Mascara Volume and Lash Clash) . I don’t typically use makeup but I do occasionally apply small amounts depending on the occasion just to clean up.
Too Faced Lip Injection
I also ended up getting the “Too Faced Lip Injection kit”. This item was a total surprise to me as to what it actually is. Apparently, (according to my sister) this product has an effect of making your lips have a more plumed and filled looked by using a burning sensation. This set came with a clear and pink tinted gloss.
Laruce Makeup Brush Set
Lastly I got some newer and nicer makeup brushes to replace the cheap ones I currently have and This brand “LARUCE” makes these really nice and clean brushes. The packaging also seems to be reusable so that is a major bonus.
